March Madness!

Haha no don´t worry about sending anything for Easter, I have too much stuff now, and I need to get rid of it! But I always do love letters, those are the best!

Here are some pictures of some art that someone did on the wall with trash, I thought it was pretty cool. There is a whole block of it, and also me trapped in my mosquito net and stuff.

The first one says, “who says this is trash?”
Oh, and the little boy is a son of a member in the ward.

The first picture is of Francisco, he was baptised a few months ago and is still going strong. He has lost almost everything, even his house, after his baptism, but he still goes to church and everything. Francisco is the bald one, Santo is the one that has the white shirt and tie in the background, and Carlos Manuel an investigator, is the bald one with the polo shirt.

Also the baptism is of Veronica and her granddaughter, Karina. Karina is a handful 8 years old, but the day of her baptism she totally was reverent and also the Sunday after. It was like a dream come true for Veronica. Veronica is super funny. She is a really sweet older woman, she used to live in Texas and Florida, and she speaks English... but not really. It´s more like Spanish with English words mixed in. I just laugh. She LOVES to talk, always. She stands up in Sunday School and always shares 15 minute stories. The members all got to know her RIGHT away, “oh the one who talks a lot? I know her” they say. IT was a really great baptism and now we are working on her daughter, Ledy, who is 40 years old. She has health problems and tension, because her husband passed away 3 months ago and left her with the kids. After a really cool lesson about the Plan of Salvation and calling a member to pick her up in the car, she went to church and loved it!

Yup that's all for this week. I love you all!

P.S. I am a fan of La Bandera, it´s just rice with beans and pollo guisao.
You can throw in some platano frito to make it interesting, or some eggplant fried.
Moro con guandules is really good too, what ever you want.
